Our dog is either a Border Collie mix or an Australian Sheppard, ie: a working breed.
She never happier than when she does something to make US happy.
That's the way working breeds are.
She's 100% untrained, so we never taught her this.
How in the hell am I cruel to my dog? She loves me, I love her. She's looking at me with a look of abject adoration as I type this. If you were to set her "free", she'd be dead in a week.
PETA, don't take my puppy away, she needs me!

Well, not really. PETA has been known for its support of terroristic activities, such as the burning and vandalism of stores that sell fur, the destruction of property on farms, and the support (both in the form of money and giving them publicity) of the A.L.F. and the E.L.F. (Earth Liberation Front, another terrorist organization). And last time I checked, wanton destruction of property to incite fear was considered terrorism.

And about them not keeping pets, I have friends who have hunting dogs to hunt racoon. You cannot tell me that those dogs do not love to get out and go hunting. Whenever he puts the tailgate down on his truck and opens the dog box, they jump up and down in the kennel he keeps them in, and when he lets them out, they head straight for the door to the dog box. The same goes for any retriever or pointer I have ever had or hunted with.

The ALF - the Chamber Militant of the Vegetarian Inquisition.
