Or I, Jedi. Is having sex with a furry goat-like being any stranger than Corran Horn talking about how awesome it was to have sex with a humanoid feline? Selonians are actually humanoid water mammals, more akin to an otter or shrew...
Though the difference between a human woman and a giant shrew is academic at best.

Dammit Chewie, stop helping...

The new title for book 9 is confirmed: Apocalypse. As far as title's go it's a hell of a lot better then invincible. Given that Abeloth's still active, it means something big is gonna happen.

As a minor point, predictions regarding the establishment of the Fel Dynasty have been thrown into confusion.

Agreed; they should have just gotten fucking hitched at the end of TUF and we could have avoided the love-triangle bullshit that followed.
Re: are the Fate of the Jedi books any good?
In fairness it's still partway through. They also did it because there was conflicting interest. On the plus it shows jaina maturing. I think it can still get back on track

Re: are the Fate of the Jedi books any good?
I'm enjoying this series a lot. Really excited for the next book (Fate of the Jedi: Vortex).
Re: are the Fate of the Jedi books any good?
I'm enjoying it for a couple of reasons.
1) Author cohesion. Unlike Legacy of the Force, the authors are definitely collaborating story-wise, character-wise, and even style-wise.
2) An interesting plot that goes beyond 'threat to everything'.
3) Good writing. I have yet to bang my head against the desk out of sheer stupidity, and the extraneous sessions, author favoritism, and character deaths are kept under control with one exception. And hell, Abyss is one of the only books to freak me out even a little bit.
I like the series a lot, essentially.
