I think it was, Kamino seems to be the focus of the first episodes (coming on September 17), while the Zabrak/Nightsisters are later on. Also, I like how they seem to be making this more ESB-like, with all the previous seasons' successes turn to failure (Mandalore, Ryloth, Toydaria getting involved again).

That trailer certainly has me pumped for season 3. And what the heck, I'm a sucker for that dramatic music they had. :D

Okay, having seen the new trailer and read the interview that VT-16 posted...

As has already been noted, by a number of people, it looks like they're trying to imitate The Empire Strikes Back. Don't know how well that will work out.
Spoiler
The Bad: Maul's brother has a fucking stupid name. Also, I'm not sure I like where they seem to be going with Dathomir. The idea of some kind of magical witches who aren't Force users doesn't really feel right for Star Wars.

On the plus side, though, it seems they're continuing to make the show darker, which is all for the best. You shouldn't make a war show (even one aimed at children), and make it all sugar-coated. The site of the Cloning Chambers on Kamino (presumably full of baby clones) falling and shattering particularly hit home.

I also really liked to see some of the old characters returning, like the Twi'lek leader. And Bane. And Ventress. She's had a long absence from the show, and she's one of my favorite villain characters from the Clone Wars era. The interview says that "Her life at the beginning of the season and her life at the end of the season will be drastically different." I want to see how this plays out.

Very interesting to see a glimpse of Sepperatist politics too. The trailer has a shot of Dooku's hologram talking to some sort of assembly, and the interview mentions a "Separatist Parliament." Very interesting.
Animation still looks very solid, as well.

Spoiler
Somewhere they mentioned how the Force manifested itself differently in different cultures. I think Lucas also mentioned how different religious ideas were used to come up with the Force (in real life, but I also assume in SW) so it's possibly just another aspect of it.

One thing that bugs me is the refusal to refer to the seppies as the 'Confederacy', which is really their official title. It's always Separatist forces, Separatist Parliament, and Separatist Alliance. Are they just afraid of pissing off hicks by calling the bad guys the Confederacy?
