Ooh. That's increased my chances of getting this by a margin.

I just hope it doesn't end up as an inverse STO, with fun ground combat and space combat that's agonizingly shit.

Apparently, some details about space combat is being revealed in October's issue of PC Gamer.White Haven wrote:I just hope it doesn't end up as an inverse STO, with fun ground combat and space combat that's agonizingly shit.

The link is self-explanatory. I thought it was worth bumping up this thread.

Was that the Ebon Hawk?

At which point?
Anyway, that looked surprisingly cool. My main concern is why they were lazy to the point of recycling the OT sound effects.

It looked like the Ebon Hawk, but given that the Ebon Hawk was just your standard small freighter at that time, it was most likely not the Ebon Hawk itself.
Either way, it looks good so far, but i wonder how much ship cusomization they will have, how the damage system and combat system in general will work and so on. Because that's equally or more important than graphics.

It's an MMO. The customisation will be awesome and far-reaching, from 'pewpew A to pewpew B upgrade' to 'do you want cool red stripes, it makes the ship go faster'.

No it wasn't, the Ebon Hawk was a Dynamic-class Freighter, a very rare ship. Core Galaxies Systems only made them one at a time. So while not one-of-a-kind, it's hardly common.Serafina wrote:It looked like the Ebon Hawk, but given that the Ebon Hawk was just your standard small freighter at that time, it was most likely not the Ebon Hawk itself.
