Some People's Kids :Sheesh!:

Post by LadyTevar »

First, an explaination. I work for the Local Government, in the Birth Registration office. This means I get to see the birth certificate of every child born in this state. And I have found that some people have no idea what kind of torture they are setting their children up for in the future when they name them.

For example, we have the Royalty: (last names removed to protect the guilty)
Pharaoh Isaac
King James
Princess Argentina LaShae

Then, we have the Bad Puns:
Christa Chandra Leer
DeJae Vou (Lynch)

And of course, the Popular Culture:
(Ryan) Austin Powers
Anikan Luke (Matheny)

And, lastly, the OverDone:
Mary Elizabeth Sarah Katherine Rose Olivia Rebecca Ruth Suzanne Turley

These children, some of them now entering Kindergarten, are going to be meeting a plethoira of Brianna's, Kayla/Kaylee's, Hunter's (Male and Female), Aaron's, Bailey's... all of every conceivable spelling that a maxium 12th grade education can imagine.

Now, considering what happens to a child named Dick in elementary school playgrounds... What's going to happen to these 'Designer Named' children?

It was two lines in the rather good-sized box on the certificate. I might have missed two, cause while I know it was 10 names, I forget if that was the full name, or just the "Middle" names.

Dude. What is up with that last name? You don't have to give everyone in your family a shout out by naming your kid after them... and if that wasn't the reason they did it, I think these people ought to be examined a bit. O_o

My freind wants to name his kid *Cough*.

It's written like that but pronounced like your accually coughing.

I blame it on teen parents, Teen parent shouldn't be allowed to name their kids, this chick on my bus that got knocked up her freshman year, named her kid Destiny Star, there are 2 Princess's that I know of at my school and several of the black chicks, that have made up african sounding names.

Indeed, I think teenage parenting might have something to do with the shit names.

You know how many times when I was in high school I heard the preggo preppies saying they were naming their daughter "Destiny". That's so fucking stupid. I'll laugh when your child makes nothing of their life, just like you are right now, you slut.

Rebecca and I named our boys Matthew and David because we wanted strong names that wouldn't make them the target of ridicule. The people who make up these fucking goofball names for their kids should be beaten with a lead pipe.

Labels are a type of symbol. Symbols are in every thing that matters intellectually to a human mind.

Also Categorisation is a defining quality of human life, deal with it.
