ICO / Shadow of the Colossus being remastered for PS3

I never played these games. Never even heard of them until a few years ago. Still, they're obviously raved about. I'll probably get it.

I remember wanting SotC back in the day but not having a PS2. I was going to buy it earlier this year, but for an old PS2 game it sure is pricey.

Will most likely pick this up. Here's hoping they fix the extreme framerate drops during big fights.

Probably before. Presumably they're getting rereleased to build excitement for The Last Guardian.

There has been no indication whatsoever that it's been canceled.

Since Last Guardian was out in force at TGS, it looks very much not cancelled.

Last Guardian's been dated Holiday 2011. I enjoyed Ico and Shadow of the Colossus first time around in spite of their technical limitations. Don't think I'll pickup the re-releases since it'll probably just spoil the fond nostalgia.

The God of War 1 & 2 remastered versions looked pretty awesome on PS3.

Shadow of the Colossus was technically extremely impressive, with lots of 'faked' HD lighting stuff that the PS2 wasn't able to do, so actually on PS3 it should look pretty impressive. Both of these games were really amazing in their own way, so it's nice to see them get the remaster treatment.

I'd prefer to see them actually get some updated graphics aside from rendering them at HD resolutions, but I'll live. The real question I want answered is how much money it's going to cost. If it's full retail price, I won't get it.
