I think Spanky might have referenced it in the past, but I forgot the title so I'm not sure if it's the same book. Going to have to find a copy and give it a read.

Klaatu: I'm impatient with stupidity. My people have learned to live without it.
Mr. Harley: I'm afraid my people haven't. I'm very sorry... I wish it were otherwise.

The crass sexism present in "Turnabout Intruder" is another indication that TOS is an old TV show that first aired a staggering 44 years ago; the 1960s was more like the 1990s than the 1930s in terms of cultural mindset, but it was still a decade of awkward transition and TOS was bound to date.

Is today's episode overdue? Normally it's there when I wake up on a Sunday.
A scientist once gave a public lecture on astronomy. He described how the Earth orbits around the sun and how the sun, in turn, orbits around the centre of a vast collection of stars called our galaxy.

At the end of the lecture, a little old lady at the back of the room got up and said: 'What you have told us is rubbish. The world is really a flat plate supported on the back of a giant tortoise.

The scientist gave a superior smile before replying, 'What is the tortoise standing on?'

'You're very clever, young man, very clever,' said the old lady. 'But it's turtles all the way down.'

Yes. Chuck usually uploads it on Saturday, but of course he has no obligation to do so. Perhaps he did not have time to do it this week or something.

Called it too early. It's up now.

And you didn't create a thread for it? Disappointing!
