Here's my version of the standard TFT as it was used in the first episodes. The manufacturer was AMT/Ertl, the scale is 1/35 so that it would fit to most military vehicles. I built it in 1999, just when Episode 1 was released in Germany, using enamel colours from Revell which where applied via airbrush and brushes. Naturally, after 11 years, it had suffered a little bit and I am thinking about rebuilding and repainting it, as I would change some parts and add some details (for example, drilling holes into the secondary armarment guns or sanding and filling the seamlines). The only reference for colouring it was the cover picture on the packaging.

I'd touch up the carbon scoring, it looks spray painted (probably because it is, but then it's a model and it's not supposed to be noticeable) rather than burnt.

Looks pretty damn impressive to me.

Re: Episode 1: Trade Federation Tank 1/35 scale
Looking good, I think.
However, the model is stated to be in 1/32 scale (same as some huge aircraft models), but I'm sure you can pass it off as 1/35 if you intend to put it in a diorama.
Other than filling and sanding the seams and drilling out the barrels, the only thing I can think of to add would be some chipped and worn paint-weathering. Especially on the handles and around the turret hatch.

Yeah the seams really stand out. Especially on the curves of the turret and the main gun pivot points. Aside from that, what everyone else said.
I would add a flames or scallops, but that is just me.
