Yeah, sorry about that. I was sidetracked by NHL 11 and a wicked awesome show on big cats. That and I'm half fried from the first few days of school and the changes to my sleeping schedule. I'll be good for next week though.

Meh, that wasn't my normal connection and I would've had to duck out early anyway because I forgot my charger. I was kinda glad that I didn't have to suffer through all that.

Till next week then.

I was late, we had a farewell party for my girlfriend and I the night before. I was in a severe state of beer induced discomfort :P

The previous sunday morning the bottem end of my motor blew leaving me stranded on the side of the highway. Kind of irritating considering I rebuilt the entire top end around christmas. If anyone in Australia needs 4D56 TDi parts, or ANYTHING off an NG Pajero let me know :banghead: .

I've decided that I'm buying something old and shipping my massive overcompensation truck parts from Canada to build something stupid with. Like maybe a 1985 Range Rover with a 500hp 531 stroker, Sterling 10.15 rear, Dana 60 front and an Atlas transfer case. Sometimes overkill is a good thing

Aside from that, I've settled on building two alts, one is a Vindicare Assasin, the other is a Maletek Stalker/ Death Cult Assasing. Fairly easy to work in, either would have been able to slip into a vent or up a waste pipe. Captain Bart may die, or may not be the best choice for the rest of the planned story :)

My copy of Rogue Trader just arrived, I'm thinking of creating a captain that's entombed in a life support built into his ship.... (ala Ravenor but bigger)

Well, the team currently has 2 ships and only 1 Captain. I'd like to hear what the players have to say, but I'm fine with another Captain.

Also, reminder, game is tomorrow 9pm EST. Cya there.

That would be an interesting character build, I reckon we'd need another ship to pull it off though. I'd be all for it, I have alts if Bart is no longer appropriate or he could be a crew member on the other Raider that steps up to the task. I'll be up and ready to play tomorrow morning :D

like I said, I just got my copy of the RT rules the other day, and though the Ritual of Sektesh is in the Inquisitors handbook, I would have to break them out on a day when I'm not working/cleaning

Assuming that you were entombed in a reasonably large ship there could reasonably be a Maletek Stalker Death Cult Assasin within it's holds. If you were a Phaenonite or Phaenonite-sympathetic it would certainly explain why you so willingly subjected yourself the to eternity of torture that accompanies the Ritual of Setesh. Granted this would mean that you, me and anyone who ever aids us would be considered Excommunicate Traitoris if it were to be found out. I think that would make for alot of fun, but that may not be the game anyone else wants to play

I will be here today.

I am planning on going to a football game either next week or the one after. If I go next week I won't be here since it's an evening game, but if I go the week after I should make it home in time.
I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who constantly says: "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action"; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a "more convenient season."

Do you have room for another space marine? I'd be fine with playing an Ascension character instead, but the Deathwatch book just arrived and I'm itching to play a Space Wolf Iron Priest.

Given that the Deathwatch-rulebook is now out, i would be willing to share information about it with your Marine-players. And also with Norade, IIRC he wanted to play a Librarian.

I'm still up for tonight. From the looks of things we've got a lot of new characters to bring in. What's the plan for introducing so many?

well reading up, ok Mechanicus Ressurection costs 700-900exp, agility sucks, only basic skills, WS, BS remain the same, body becomes machine and toughness/strength 30+2d10, fate points -2, WP -10 from original, 1d10 sanity, 1d5 curruption (mental anguish from being brought back from the dead. So as per the rules I could create Davros the ship's captain, with heavy weapon mounting for the life support unit....

You would be both Captain and Pilot if you did that right? Being able to control the ship as an extension of your will would be pretty damn cool.

What type of ship are you looking to get?

that was my general plan, since the non-heretech option limits me to skitarri chasis with ship control linkages, of course my charm/charisma stats would take a dump (fellowship is halved for charm/charisma due to non-human appearance) It doesn't say so, but I would imagine that intimindate bonus, oh built in breather, ominus vox (does AM/the imperium make any toher kind of Vox?)

as far as ship I haven't gotten that far in the book yet, however, I'm thinking of naming it Die Hollander, I came up with a basic backstory, involving a family enemy assassinating him, via a bomb in his aircar, the crash left him paralyzed, cracked his skull, destroying his left eye, the prometium fumes destroyed his lungs, and he's pretty much just there by will, and a need to get back at the rival family, etc.

of course the un added cost is owing the mechanicus big time.

I like it.

So are we killing the current party and starting again or what's going on at this point? We have what, 3 of the original group left? I'd be more than happy to post my assassin and have him be on Yosemite's ship.
