Does Rogue Trader RPG downgrade Imperial STL speeds?
Looking at the speeds of the vessels in Rogue Trader RPG and comparing it to other sources I think that FFG has downgraded Imperial STL speeds.

Rogue Trader speed stats are way lower than every other source with one exception: Rogue Star by Andy Hoare and Andy wrote some of the fluff for the Rogue Trader game. Does a liscenced RPG by another company that uses minimalist stats trump every other piece of 40K background material on the subject? Especially considering that the mass of the ships in RT is far too low as well. Double to triple digit accelerations have been consistently used from the earliest writings to the modern Horus Heresy books. It should take more than a single secondary source to overturn that.IvanTih wrote:Looking at the speeds of the vessels in Rogue Trader RPG and comparing it to other sources I think that FFG has downgraded Imperial STL speeds.
The Excellent Prismatic Spray. For when you absolutely, positively must kill a motherfucker. Accept no substitutions. Contact a magician of the later Aeons for details. Some conditions may apply.

I always think of Imperial Armor and FFG fluff as a low end for 40k.

No, it does not. Nor does it dramatically hamper acceleration (which is what you should be caring about, since speed in space is a bit silly to talk about) And stop making retarded threads like this. You're getting as annoying as that mung beans person.
