But no child deserves to be born to such a useless parent. Sex education still remains the biggest glaring hole in the education system in North America, thanks almost entirely to puritanical religious idiots.

Personally I think our educational system is lacking across the board. That's what you get when everything is held hostage to the idiot masses. Sex-Ed is but one of the gaping holes.

I can understand objections to teaching sex directly and independent of other subjects (well, not really, I can just understand the motivations). But I can't understand why someone would want to deny their children basic knowledge of the human anatomy and the reproductive system. I mean, that's just an incomplete education.

Actually, I'm in favor of comprehensive sexual education. Ignorance, now more than ever, is dangerous. But it won't make teen pregnancy or STDs go away. A big part of the problem is and always will be reckless, stupid teens.

I was taking Sex Ed classes only a few years ago, and they were fairly good. Told us trying to wash the sperm out with water, pulling out at last minute, fucking in a pool wouldn't work. I think the main thing is that kids aren't listening, because they are being taught this stuff.

I've got Asian parents, and they've never discussed sex with me. When I was in the third grade and asked them what a condom was, they just told me they would tell me when I was older. They never did. When I told them we had Sex Ed classes, their reaction was just "Oh, good, now I don't have to teach you myself."

As a parent, you don't look forward to it because it's uncomfortable and you have no idea what's going through his mind when you talk about it. But if he hasn't already figured out what those noises from the main bedroom are, he will sooner or later, so I have to have "the talk" with him.

The fact is, the human anatomy/biology angle is being taught. But it really doesn't matter; kids are apparently too fucking stupid, by and large, to grasp it. Maybe a poster with a photo of feces and a photo of a baby wearing a FUBU jersey would better illustrate the concept they seem to be missing, along with the following caption:

"Science has determined that the human body is Nature's most advanced biomechanism, capable of processing raw materials (cheeseburger pic) stripping away the less useful components, and ejecting this: (feces pic). But even more amazingly, your body, that wonder of biomechanics can process its very own raw materials (sperm+egg pic), and eject this: (baby FUBU pic).

You wouldn't eat something and not expect to shit eventually. Yes, eating is fun -- but only because we're such fucking lazy, stupid animals that if it weren't fun, we would never fucking do it and would die as individuals. Fucking a girl senseless is also fun -- but only because, were it not fun, we'd never fucking do that either, and would go extinct. Maybe we should.

As long as we're on the subject of kids having kids, what about the Serial Impregnator guys who get them knocked up? There's this certain percentage of guys who think that birth control is entirely the woman's responsibility, will not under any circumstances wear a condom, and vanish into thin air as soon as the girl they're screwing gets pregnant. Lack of responsibility on their part is a big part of the problem to my point of view: if you don't want kids, you take reasonable precautions to make sure you won't get your partner pregnant. If you end up getting the girl pregnant despite those precautions, you be a man and take care of the kid you fathered. Any heterosexual man who's not willing to face up to that responsibility if it happens should stick to fertilizing his palm. Then you have the other half of the problem: the girls who are so stupid/gullible that they believe lines like "I'll only put it in a little" or "you can't get pregnant your first time" or whatever. Worse, you have women who'll intentionally get preggers thinking that somehow that will help them hang onto their boyfriend.

Here's my proposal: everyone in the nation gets contraceptive implants the very moment they reach puberty, and the implants don't come out until they can prove their fitness to be parents. I know it sounds nazi-ish, but I have no faith in the ability of people (especially teens) to take reasonable precautions anymore.

True: I think Nevada has the right idea there. Legalize it, tax it, and require tests and condoms to minimize the amount of diseases being spread. Of course, as with any reasonable solution the Fundies would have a foaming fit about it. (Let us not forget: it was only THIS YEAR that Pennsylvania finally legalized the sale of beer on Sunday.)

Well in my day-to-day life most of the girls I know have bizarre preconceptions that masturbation is dirty, uneccessary, harmful, or wrong.

The girl in my mind who immediately comes to mind has truckloads of reserved sexual tension and bizarre warped standards for men that are not grounded in reality.

She won't connect a to b sadly, so I get to listen to her bitch constantly.

I will never understand why so many parents inculcate their children with the idea that masturbation is something dirty and bad. Seems to me that it would be much better for your kids to be home masturbating rather than being out having sex and running the risk of picking up a disease or making a grandkid for you to get stuck with. That's just my opinion though.
