That was awesome, to see him back in a DeLorean. I must be getting old, 'cause I felt a little twinge of emotion when I noticed his fingers shaking while he was activating the time circuits.

I still get the chills whenever I hear the theme song from the movie and the music played during it. :)

Awesome.

I've wanted a DeLorean ever since I was a kid. Unfortunately, they only come in two flavors: fixer-upper, and "if you have to ask, you can't afford it".

Just what made the movie fantastic for you? For me, it was the music.

Huey lewis and the Mews, good old fashion rock, and the show down in the Old West against Biff when Marty punch his light out.
Sheer, awesome music.

You may as well call it six in one/half dozen in the other; can you guess what it costs to get stainless steel body panels fabricated?

You can get one from $57,500. Does that count as "too expensive"? It seems to be about twice as much as a bog-standard Ford Mondeo.
"So you want to live on a planet?"
"No. I think I'd find it a bit small and wierd."
"Aren't they dangerous? Don't they get hit by stuff?"

Actually, you can get one used for $29,000. It is in that site you posted.

I don't need to guess, I live a couple hours from the plant that refurbishes and rebuilds DeLoreans.

And most of the fixer-uppers only need electrical/hydraulic work, not body work.

I've still yet to see BTTF2. Got the trilogy as a box set on DVD though.

Their early work was a little too New Wave for my taste, but when Sports came out in '83, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. The whole album has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost.
A scientist once gave a public lecture on astronomy. He described how the Earth orbits around the sun and how the sun, in turn, orbits around the centre of a vast collection of stars called our galaxy.

At the end of the lecture, a little old lady at the back of the room got up and said: 'What you have told us is rubbish. The world is really a flat plate supported on the back of a giant tortoise.

The scientist gave a superior smile before replying, 'What is the tortoise standing on?'

'You're very clever, young man, very clever,' said the old lady. 'But it's turtles all the way down.'

In '87, Huey released this, Fore, their most accomplished album. I think their undisputed masterpiece is "Hip to be Square", a song so catchy, most people probably don't listen to the lyrics. But they should, because it's not just about the pleasures of conformity, and the importance of trends, it's also a personal statement about the band itself.
