Well, you're right, since what I noticed first is that her boobs are probably augmented or at the very least there are serious push-ups lifting them up like that. I am not a huge fan of that style, but it certainly will turn a lot of heads. She's also clearly not a fashion model judging from her body shape and the breasts, unless she's one of these recently popular "more normal looking" models that clothing manufacturers targeting low and medium income groups instead of high fashion for the affluent have started to use.aerius wrote:Well, the idea is you guys would be too busy looking at her tits to notice anything fishy with the picture.

I chatted with her for a while and she says she does most of her modeling for calendars and trade shows. I'm a fan of her look, she has really nice curves IMO. And nice legs.

Say, do you want it to be a threesome with your wife? Or a foursome with your wife and sister-in-law? I'm up for either.

Yes. Since were are already heavily objectifying the female body, I can add that I do find her hot. She has the kind of looks that most men actually find sexy in real life, which explains why she does mostly calendars and trade shows, both traditional ways for men to ogle sexy women... The fashion industry, however, is something completely different.aerius wrote:I chatted with her for a while and she says she does most of her modeling for calendars and trade shows. Some recent cell phone shots. Nothing really great, but will make do until I have my films scanned (I have about 10 rolls backlog...):
Re: Show-off thread (56k unfriendly)
Interesting lighting on the 3rd photo, I like how the yellow arch thingy is so much brighter than everything else in the picture, it's as if someone's shining a giant spotlight on it.

Someone was, it's called the sun Well, it's just that it's by far the most reflective item on that photo with everything else having a rough natural surface, and because cell phones cameras (or indeed entry level compacts) do not have too much dynamic range, the arch becomes brighter than anything else. However, you can get a surprising amount of shadow detail even with tiny sensor (1/2.5" in this case for all you fellow measurebators) if you use negative exposure compensation and bring up the shadows in post:muse wrote:Interesting lighting on the 3rd photo, I like how the yellow arch thingy is so much brighter than everything else in the picture, it's as if someone's shining a giant spotlight on it.
That said, any more and you would get too much noise in the shadows. However, without negative exp. comp. the horizon would have been white. This is called "exposing to the left" because of what it looks like in a histogram.
For all of you who already know this stuff or are not interested: I apologize.

Pictures from my wife & I's honeymoon to Europe in 2007. Here are some of my favorite pictures that also fan's of family and friends
Santorini and much of the Aegean are famous for their blue domed churches. In the past, each church was normally built by a fishing family. The color blue is supposed to ward off evil spirits. This particular picture was taken in the village of Oia on the main island of Santorini. The small island in the distance is the new volcanic dome.
This picture gives great scope of the height of the volcanic cliffs of islands of Santorini. At their highest locations they are 1,800ft above sea level. Again this picture was taken from the village of Oia looking towards the maintown on the large island of Thira.
This picture was taken in Dubrovnik, Croatia while my wife had lunch at the Nautika restaurant outside of Old Dubrovnik. Best Calamari I have ever had, and the view isn't half bad either.

About time I started to upload pictures again, I've been sufficiently swamped with university life to forget about SDN, Flickr and this thread/subforum in particular
3 pictures from the old city of Jerusalem.
Church of the Holy Sepulchre:
Lightbeam (Cropped):

Old part of the city. I'm not very pleased with how this came out. Maybe if i'd managed to climb up higher and gotten more pipes and "noise" into the frame..

More camping
Around 2100 last night someone(s) came walking up to the campsite with their flashlights(bear in mind that the campsite is over mile from the road and about 3 miles from the parking lot), stopped(the light stopped moving, I heard some talking and it sounded like he was talking to himself), then moved on. The howling wind and sleet really added to the experience.
Damn dog slept right through it, but of course for every goddamn twig snap she worms her way out of the sleeping bag and growls into the night.

Made this up, and tidied it up, while pushing the two rats around for their late-evening "go to sleep already!" trip around the streets
Sung to "Big John"
Big Pram
Every morning at the creche you could see it arrive.
Stood six foot six, weight two forty five,
Kinda broad at the handle, narrow at the wheels,
And everybody knew you cut no deals with Big Pram
Big pram! Big praa...aaam! Big bad pram!
Big pram
Nobody seemed to know where pram called home.
It just rolled into town, and stayed all alone.
Had big spikes, it was shiny and new,
And if you got in the way, it would roll over you, Big Pram
Big pram! Big praa...aaam! Big bad pram!
Big pram
Then came the day at the back of the creche,
when a fire started, and babies started crying.
Carers were running, and hearts beat fast,
And everybody thought they'd breathed there last, except Pram
Big pram! Big praa...aaam! Big bad pram!
Big pram
Through the fire and smoke there rolled a pram,
Rolled a giant of a pram that the carers knew well.
Rammed into that wall, which gave out with a groan
And like a giant metal machine just stood there alone, Big Pram
Big pram! Big praa...aaam! Big bad pram!
Big pram
Then with all its strength it gave a mighty shove
And a carer yelled out "There's a light up above!"
And twenty babies crawled from a would be grave
And now there's only one left in there to save, Big Pram
Big pram! Big praa...aaam! Big bad pram!
Big pram
With masks and hoses, they started back in
Then came a rumble, a horrible din
Bricks and timbers came down like thunder
And everyone knew that buried right under was Big Pram
Big pram! Big praa...aaam! Big bad pram!
Big pram
They never repaired that broken pram,
Just placed a marble stand in front of it.
These few words are written on that stand,
"This twisted lump of metal was a big, big pram. Big Pram"

A lot of the times it's too much of a pain in the ass to walk 50 yards off trail to bury it, and even if it isn't oftentimes the topsoil in the mountains isn't deep enough to dig a good hole.Artemas wrote:just bring a small entrenchment device shovel?
