OK, the uni had pulled the wool over ALL our eyes.

The UniBar is open, though still incomplete.

But that isn't the big news.

The Uni radio station was officially opened today.

Good news, but not the BIG news.

Big news:

Party tonight (tradition for O-week, a big party down on the footy oval). Though, this year we have Machine Gun Fellatio playing, along with several local bands, dollar beers, free barbeque and fire works. Oh and did I mention that entry to this party was free. Should be a DAMN good night.

And did I remember to mention that Machine Gun Fellatio were playing? I guess now I don't have to feel bad about missing their commercial concert.

UniBar!!! YAY!!!!!!!!! Ahhh, the memories.... Sounds like a kickass party, Ando-boy. $1 beers, free BBQ, free music and free fireworks? Sweeeeet.

Machine Gun Fellatio is an...interesting name for a band, btw. :D

This thread is extremely deceptive. I saw
"Oh yes. Yes baby baby - Oh!"
and that the last post was made by Zaia and expected a sex thread.

Hey, you did see the name of the band didn't you? They have a somewhat, controversial, shall we say - stage show.

As I said on icq: You lucky bastard. Not only do I have to wait till March 1st, I am going to have to pay to see them dammit. At least my uni has 1 dollar beers all week though. And IIRC a couple of free bbqs. but dammit I have to pay to see MGF!

Nope. I'm just going to be busy later and wanted to make sure I didn't forget to ask.

Well, I'll say that the concert fucking rocked. Unfortunately, the uni being scungy gits erected cyclone fencing so you couldn't sprawl the party all over the oval and it was TWO DOLLAR BEERS. WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT ABOUT?

As for the band, they are WAY better live. And hell any band where you have a member cartwheeling around the stage where nipple tassels and g-string, then playing guitar in that outfit (just one of many she wore)... It was a damn good night.

And was the band better live just because of the nipple tassels and g-strings? Do they call the band Machine Gun Fellatio because they fellate machine guns, or does the title insist the machine gun is doing the fellatio?

I really need to stop asking questions like this.

No, the band is better live because they are one of the few bands that actually play and sound better live. And also because they get the crowd into it.

*edit*

Also, how can you not love a band that gets the crowd singing along with an acapella version of the song "(Let Me Be Your) Dirty Fucking Whore"...

OK, just a sampler of the aforementioned "Dirty Fucking Whore" song...

http://www.machinegunfellatio.com/media ... 20%204.mp3

And the full versions of most of their songs are available on Kazaa. Fairly popular it would appear...

That is one of the coolest names for a band ever

Im gonna starrt a band called "Erection Psychosis"
"If it's true that our species is alone in the universe, then I'd have to say that the universe aimed rather low and settled for very little."
-George Carlin (1937-2008)

"Have some of you Americans actually seen Football? Of course there are 0-0 draws but that doesn't make them any less exciting."
-Dr Roberts, with quite possibly the dumbest thing ever said in 10 years of SDNet.
