The version I saw had three discs. I got the dog thing from the interview they did in one of the special features with the French historian who had written a book on the subject. He said it was most likely a half-wolf in reality but understood why they used a lion. It wouldn't be as dramatic or scarey because a wolf wouldn't be able to flail people around like the thing did in the movie.
Nope. Good to see that some people in the film industry try to make things as accurate as possible.Maybe you're right about savate. I didn't think it looked that much like hollywood kung fu though.
