Is it really that way (Just voting against retaining judges)? In West Virginia the Democrats have such a strong control over anything that isn't Federal level or Governor that Republicans often don't even run.

Lazy? What the hell does lazy have to do with any of this? Did you not read my analysis pissed-off rant on the subject? People as a majority don't just fill in circle beside 'No'. Historically they vote 2/3s to retain and 1/3 to oust. This was people getting off their asses and intentionally voting to get rid of the judges. That is not lazy. That is fucking stupid.

^How are things in Cedar Rapids? At least in Des Moines, we have one positive to all this. Republicans who aren't Teabaggers are jumping ship en masse (frightened by the prospect of Colorado and Alabama running their state), many of them to the Democrat side. They are holding sway with some Western Iowa people, so maybe in two years the Teabaggers will split the conservative vote.
