In case anyone missed it, there was a tribute performance to Joe Strummer on tonight's Grammys awards show. "London Calling" was performed by a few guys you might have heard of before -- Elvis Costello, Bruce Springsteen, Dave Grohl, and Little Steven Van Zandt -- and it was a big, beautiful, chaotic wall of noise, that ended quite properly with the uncontrolled feedback of a discarded guitar.
In other news, The Flaming Lips won a grammy.
Strange days, indeed.
