Of course an award of any kind is a PR tool. That is the intent. It goes for the Oscars as well as the Nobel prize. Its even in his will. So making such a statement is redundant even if you are trying to imply something else.

The peize being bullshit is just false. Either you don't understand what bullshit means or you are trying to say something else completely. The prize is very real and has been handed out since 1901. Now what you might have been going for would be that it is undeserved or that the jury doesn't follow the intent of the will. Both of which you have provided no argument or evidence for.

Now to your 'political' point. It goes without saying doesn't it? But that doesn't follow with what you are trying but failing to imply. Why would the Norwegians of all countries be in on this vast conspiracy of yours? It just doesn't make any sense. Do you think the same way about other nominations of dissidents, like Aung San Suu Kyi? Is she a western tool as well? Or are you trying to say that democracy is a western concept and thus suspect in and of itself?
