Best original fiction on the web?

Post by Srelex »

So, out of curiosity, what's the best original fiction, prefrably scifi/fantasy orientated, that you've seen on the web? Simple as that. Stuff like TSW and such.

What do you mean by original? Because The Open Door and the one before it were both insanely awesome.

Sure the writing isn't the best ever, but it's like a Ford Fiesta with Lazors and a hyperdrive. There's too much awesome to care about the crappy car.

The Open Door is fan fiction, not original fiction.

fgalkin's The Third Covenant is an entertaining read. RedImperator's story formerly known as The Humanist Inheritance is also quite entertaining, but is no longer available.

Let's go for Bladed Crescent's All the Lost Boys and Girls. Not finished as yet, but awesome in every respect.
Conversion Table:

2000 Mockingbirds = 2 Kilomockingbirds
Basic Unit of Laryngitis = 1 Hoarsepower
453.6 Graham Crackers = 1 Pound Cake
1 Kilogram of Falling Figs - 1 Fig Newton
Time Between Slipping on a Banana Peel and Smacking the Pavement = 1 Bananosecond
Half of a Large Intestine = 1 Semicolon

If you don't mind the transgender themes, Whateley Academy is pretty good.

Damn straight, but wasn't that removed so BC could try and get it published? So it's not really on the web anymore.

I feel compelled to recommend The Metamorphosis of Prime Intellect.

Third this. My Little Echo was one of god's most beautiful creations, by virtue of being replete with god's most beautiful creations.

SF?

I feel compelled to mention Unreal Estate, possibly the only story I've seen where reality is prone to blue-screening.
