Listening to the radio, it seems that Dan Rather has had a exclusive interview with Mr Huesain. In it, amoung other nice gems, Saddam say's he wants to have a debate mano a mano with Bush on international radio and TV.

Looking for a link, but damn this guy has balls. He's about to get his ass kicked and he still wants to stick his chest out on international TV and talk shit. :shock: He is an ass, but he has balls.

To be honest what does he have to lose.. All of the peaceniks only give him confidence. He really thinks if he can stall, this war talk will collapse..

Actually I don't think so, because if he fucks around with the world his soldiers are going to be slaughtered not he himself.

CBS News correspondent Dan Rather conducted an exclusive interview with Iraqi President Saddam Hussein today. Among other things, Hussein challenged President Bush to a live TV and radio debate.


(Feb 24, 2003) -- CBS News correspondent Dan Rather conducted an exclusive interview with Iraqi President Saddam Hussein. Here is part of a statement from Rather about the interview with Hussein:
"Saddam Hussein has challenged President George W. Bush to a live, international television and radio debate about the looming war. Saddam envisions it as being along the lines of U-S presidential campaign debates.

The Iraqi president also flatly denied that even any of his most advanced Al-Samoud missiles are in violation of United Nations' mandates.

Thus, he indicated he does not intend to destroy them or pledge to destroy them as demanded by Chief U-N weapons inspector Hans Blix. Blix had set a deadline for at least a promise by this weekend. There will be more about this reporter's just finished exclusive interview with Saddam Hussein on this CBS Station later.

If Bush was as protrayed in the Media he would take Saddams challenge, Met him in Geneva then begin his statment like this

"My Fellow Americans, I'm about to save you several hundreds of millions of dollers with but one action,(Whips out a .44 Magnum) Tell Allah I said hi *BLAM

I hated Hussein before, but now I have grudging respect for him. Damn, he has balls.

I don't see him doing a debate, considering he hasn't appeared in public for a long time. I'd say a man-on-man debate with Bush is about as likely as a duel between the two.

As for the doubles, are they convincing doubles? Is there a black Saddam, a midget Saddam, a female Saddam, and a Saddam that's 8 feet tall?
