So I've been using Stanza since I got my 3GS, and it's been pretty good. The Stanza desktop app is a little awkward but gets the job done, and I gave calibre a whirl and it works good with multiple titles.
I mostly read older fiction that I can get for free from Gutenberg and the other usual sources, along with using it to read the occasional PDF.
Has anyone tried the iBooks app on an iPhone? What were your opinions of it? How well does it access stuff like Gutenberg, or are you stuck with the iBookstore in the app? Is it easy to transfer existing LIT, EPUB, and PDF files to iBooks? Easier than Stanza Desktop application?

iBooks is better on 4.2 than it was when it came out, but it still sucks compared to Stanza.
