If it is ok, I'll be sending emails to all cab companies in NYC and ask them for info and for any help they can give. Maybe if more of us email them it'll get more attention? It is a long shot but who knows?

Don't, you'll waste your time. It's not Taxi companies you're interested in, it's Medallion cabs. Most Medallion cabs have a garage they use, but the garage doesn't keep any records of where the cabs go. Moreover, even if you e-mail the Medallion cab garages and they were able to help you there'd be over 10,000 cabs to go through.

The Taxi and Limousine Commission can help though, I've called them up and given the information on how to get further information to Nomad. Assuming that the NYPD haven't already gone through the steps already.

I've just heard that the The Detective found a John Doe that matches D's description at Bellevue. Doesn't know who he is and was brought in unconscious. She's going to go and check it out right now.

The John Doe was brought in unconscious and when he awoke did not know his own name, but yes otherwise (physically) I think he's all right.

If I came across as criticizing I apologize. That was not my intent. I just wanted to make sure that that John Doe, should he turn out to be GR, would be making a full recovery from whatever he may need to recover from, and just generally stay with us.

An actual update (as Nomad hasn't posted about this):

There was a store that Ghost Rider went to and bought a six-pack of coke 24 hours before he was last seen. I went there to look into whether or not they had kept surveillance footage of him. The good news is that they have the footage, the bad news is that they wouldn't show it without police presence.

The worse news is that they refused to let me put up a missing person's poster. Which irked me, but I didn't want to protest too much.



In other news, I've been in contact with friends from the Manhattan DA's office to try and find out more about the case and see if they can do anything on his behalf. I'll let everyone know if anything comes out of it.

I know in a large city like that the cops are swamped with missing cases, has his familiy thought about hiring a private investigator. There are alot of resources online that are free to help out such as.

I sent an email to a friend of mine at JFK asking her to post the missing person poster in the TSA break rooms there. A few hundred more sets of eyes couldn't hurt. Wish I could do more.

Just to let you know, GR's mom is calling numbers she's found in his cellphone, no matter how far back the contact might have been. I got a call from her today, and it was very heartbreaking to hear the disappointment when I told her I was a member of SDNet and hadn't talked to GR in several months.

IF you had called and spoke to GR before, at any point, and his mom calls asking about Dennis Mullens, please tell her you are on SDnet, give her your Nickname on here, and be as supportive as you can.
