Could we exchange abandonware games??
Guys.. does anyone still keep copy of old, classic DOS games? I have Quest for Glory series (I, II, III, IV), Ultima VI, VII Black Gate, VII Serpent Isle, Star Control 2, Guns & Butter, X-COM: UFO Defense, and countless of other classic DOS.
Do you have classic, old Microprose games? I'm looking for Task Force 1942 and F-15 Strike Eagle III. Do you have copy and may I get it? (Or maybe buy it? )

I tend to use the Six Year Rule, Anything over Six years of age is *free, Publishers are starting to follow this to with the final demise of DOS
However I use Wink2k/Mandrake Linux so its out of the question for me

Try Jagged Alliance II http://www.jaggedalliance2.com/Crazy_Vasey wrote:I'd kill for a remastered UFO:Enemy Unknown that would use DirectX and fix the stats wrapping around to zero flaw
It''s quite good and the same type of gameplay

Crazy_Vasey: I still have good copy of UFO: Enemy Unknown, and also its sequel, X-COM: Terror From The Deep. So if you want it just ask. But I don't have my personal FTP server (such things are luxury in my country), so maybe if you want it I can send you through email (may need many posts, though )
The good thing that the game works under Win 95/98, so it'll also work under WinXP (set the compatibility level to Win 98, though), but it won't work under W2K, I guess.
Frankly, I didn't played X-COM much those days... Well, I've played (and addicted to) Microprose games mostly on highest difficulty settings, but X-COM is way too difficult for me
Now... does anybody has Task Force 1942?
