Eh, I prefer that nickname over Blueberries or Blueberry aliens.Sarevok wrote:The series is almost over and we are still referring to the primary alien antagonists as the blue men group ? .
Actually there is a blue man groupSarevok wrote:Heh.
The blue men group sounds like a jazz band name to me.

I was hoping that calling them the Blues would catch on with others. It's shorter than Blue Man Group and people outside of this forum will think that you're making references to Jazz. What's not to like?JME2 wrote: Eh, I prefer that nickname over Blueberries or Blueberry aliens.

- It seems that Rush is mellowing somewhat, though he'd probably never admit it. That scene where he pretends to praise Brody and Volker was amusing. I can't say that I was a fan of his conversation with Chloe at the end there. It's your typical cliche where the skeptical, Atheist scientist character starts to come around to the irrational superstitious viewpoint. Granted, Rush probably isn't going to become some sort of Evangelical nutbar like Caine was but it was still unnecessary.
Based on that it's now even that much of a turn around for Rush. He already felt that Destiny was special and it was his to get. Now that he has seen this structure to the Universe he believes there is some inherent order that is guiding everything. It feeds perfectly into his own superiority complex, if everything has some purpose, then he truly is meant to go uncover this mystery and any pain or misery anyone has the endure in the meanwhile means nothing because it had to happen so he can do what he wants. It's simply a new way for his character to view the surrounding and work within it, it's kinda like (for those of you who read Oots) Belkar having his epiphany in the Evolve or Die strip. Or atleast, that's how I am going to view it unless the writers really decide that Rush has converted rather than adapted.Lonestar wrote:Adrian McNair wrote:And I've finally seen it myself. Yeah finding Gods Final Message to his Creation in the structure of the universe will do that.
Because said people can't tell the difference. The fact that the drones displayed none of the replicator traits except the fact that they were AI controlled machines means nothing to them because they have a personal stake in distorting the truth because they hate the show so much. By their logic, the Replicators are a knockoff too. They're machines (later with human forms), and they adapt to most weapons. They eventually gain a leader, almost like a queen (Reece, Fifth, Rep Sam). They act as a collective towards a greater purpose. Oh look, they're the Borg.Lonestar wrote:Why do people keep calling the drones "lol replicators remix"? Replicators are Von Neumann machines, Drones are, well, all indications are that they are just drones.
It's not coming for the SG-1/SGA films, either. The SGC and Atlantis gateroom sets have been dismantled and auctioned off.PREDATOR490 wrote:SGU is dead and a reprieve certainly wont be coming.
