I was going for a formation that was pre-Battle Armor, but if you think those additions help than be my guest. Of course, if we were going to be somewhat fair, an Imperial Battlegroup operating in the field will often have its own support, like artillery regiments. And you thought this fight was bad enough...RhoOmicronMu wrote:Balrog you missed the Battlearmor Battalion and IIRC more than half of FedSuns RCTs have a second artillery Battalion attached to the Armored Brigade. Your reinforced RCT still doesn't have anything on the DAG .

'Ai! ai!' wailed Legolas. 'A Balrog! A Balrog is come!'
Gimli stared with wide eyes. 'Durin's Bane!' he cried, and letting his axe fall he covered his face.
'A Balrog,' muttered Gandalf. 'Now I understand.' He faltered and leaned heavily on his staff. 'What an evil fortune! And I am already weary.'

I would like to know which novels these are. Since apart from Star Lord and the Too much armor seen in various novels, this isn't the norm.Sarevok wrote:The armor don't seem very ablative in novels iirc. Maybe it's another table top simplification with hitpoints, just like how ranges are reduced for gameplay sake.
