Should smokers be made to pay ( with their own money ) for their treatments of smoking-related diseases ?

Of course, that would be in countries which do have a health care system.

If someone is dumb enough to make himself sick he should pay,same thing for morons who overdosed with drugs or alcool.

Yes and no.

If it's covered by their insurance plan, their insurance should pay for it. Of course since they pay for inurance they would be paying for the treatment, indirectly at least.

Otherwise, if they want to risk it they should have to pay for it if they get hurt.

How do you prove a smoking related illness. You can get lung cancer as a smoker but smoking wasnt the cause. I think the best thing you can do is charge them higher rates, not the same as paying for everything but an incentive none the less.
