Seriously though, there's a severe lack of any details whatsoever on that project.

They did invent a transparent form of a aluminum - there was a thread on it awhile ago.

yeah, they were looking at a possible use in military windsheilds.

i was looking at it for a strcutual parapet on top of a seawall that can withstand the strom surge loading and long term sand abrasion.

then i saw the cost. maybe in 20years.
