Quebec and Canada
Once, when I went on a cruise to the Bahamas, I met some canadians, and some were from Quebec, and the rest of the Canadians really didn't like them.
Is there a reason Canadians don't like Quebec? or was it probably just the two groups themselves?(pardon my ignorance in these matters, but I'm from Texas, and ya'll are on the other side of the country)
p.s.I know Quebec speaks french, while the rest of the country speaks english, so is that the reason?

Being more French than English in culture, the Quebecois (as they call themselves) have no doubt inherited the more charming qualities that the French are known for (stereotype, I know).

Have you ever heard of bill 101 a stupid law created to impose french in Quebec, they claim they are not racist, but when they did a referendum to convince people that Quebec should become an independant country,it failed thanks to the english population of Quebec and the provincial prime minister did is speach is racism came out,he said they lost because of the money and ethnic vote.

the one thing that i don't get about Quebec is the road signs! One minute i'm driving through Onterio and then BAM! Bienvinnue au Quebec! Every road sign on the highway is in French! I don't get that...it would be like if as soon as you crossed into California, the road signs switched to Spanish. Not only that but many of the hotels didn't even fly a Canadian flag...the Quebec Provincial flag was in it's place, along side the French tri-color. Fine with me though, it's like France without the expensive airline ticket.

Quebec is not very popular since that's where a lot of French-Canadians live, and to be brutally honest French-Canadians are among the most arrogant people on Earth (I should know, I'm part French-Canadian).

French Quebecers enjoy thumbing their collective noses at the rest of English Canada but are always the loudest to cry when they have to receive their share of tax money.FaxModem1 wrote:Once, when I went on a cruise to the Bahamas, I met some canadians, and some were from Quebec, and the rest of the Canadians really didn't like them.

Just because Shep's part Canadian doesn't mean he's not the same old Shep we all love. Now, let's all eat some doughnuts and watch the Americans steal all the good hockey players.

The Quebecers ALL hate France, and France hasn't given a shit about Quebec for the past 400 years.
Hell, why do you think they traded Quebec for Guadelope?
Quebec was a piece of shit then, and still is now.
