It's been blwon out of proportion. This one woman took offence at the statue, and she had a right to dismantle it. So?

My favorite thing is when some stupid feminazi proclaims that guns and missiles are phallic symbols- as if there's some sort of subconcious reason for desinging a weapon so it'll actually WORK.

Understand, in the philosophy of the ultra-left, there's no such thing as a non-symbolic act. You're mocking them for being idiots--aerodynamics absolutely dictates that a rocket would be long and cylindrical, but a radical feminist believes that since science is just a phallocentric construct, aerodynamic concerns are, at their core, just another justification for the subjugation of women.

In case any of you are wondering, that last paragraph wasn't meant to be sarcastic or ironic in the slightest. I work in the university library, and I've SEEN books that "prove" science is just a construct and is no more or less valid than deconstructionism or exstensialism or any other philosophical system.
