Yes, that's what we normally say when someone will try anything to avoid admitting a mistake. The infamous "psychological counter-attack" technique you're using now is hardly original or unusual.

The point is the same: letting a pushy fundie simply have his way in the office is a stupid idea. You have failed to refute this, you have failed to address this, you refuse to concede the point, and you are attacking the person rather than the argument. All of your evasions will not change this fact.

I'm evading the fact that I haven't addressed a "pushy fundie"? If you say so. I didn't know I ever mentioned a "pushy fundie" in this thread in any form.

You are so off base with this.

While Wong wasn't exactly using the highest form of diplo-speak to make his point, he is right about the point he made nonetheless-- when someone complaines about a Fundie or whatever, someone always has to jump in and say "but not all Fundies/Republicans/Gays/Women etc are like this..."

Fine, but we know this. We're talking specifically about the ones that are difficult asslicks. Not Fundies in general, good or bad.

Whether or not the OP morphed that into a discussion of pushy fundies is apparently not agreed upon, but the stated subject is pretty clearly about all fundies.

You ought to read the post that goes with the subject then, it made it pretty clear I thought that the problem was this anoying fundie that he needed help to deal with.

I don't see what relevance it has to point out that not all fundies are like him, that I believe is common knowledge anyway.

OK, so from this I see that Wongs answer was written in a more generalized manner, so it did not appear to apply to this particular fundie, but I think that was implied anyway.

From your response, you did either two of these things:
A) Missed the implication that DW was only talking about this particular fundie and addressed the percieved implication that all fundies are pushy.

B) You did recognize the implication, conceeded on the the points about this fundie and made a comment that not all fundies where like that though.

C) Essentially B, but you did not conceed, but I don't believe that, because said points about this fundie where not addressed and is as such a concession by not responding, but I don't believe you would do that Howedar.

Read the fucking first post instead of playing semantic bullshit games with the thread title, weasel. He specifically described a pushy fundie, in considerable detail.

Well, anyway, I had to take a road trip with the fundie-tard yesterday. I decided that since he doesn't hold back, I would not either. I feel happy to say that I literally ripped him a new one. He was so upset that his face turned a bright shade of red and I thought he was going to cry.

Not that I like to make people cry, but shit, he had this coming. If fundies are going to push this crap at people, then they sure as hell be prepared to defend it.

Sure, if a fundie is being pushy in the workplace, he must be dealt with rather than simply ignored, despite Howedar's idiocy. If a fundie is not being pushy, then there is no issue to address, hence no solution is necessary at all. Howedar simply has a bug up his ass about religion.
