If they are hauled aboard a cargo vessel, this should come with a price in deployability- the cargo ship has to offload the gunboats at a port and prep them for combat, rather than being able to launch them directly into battle like a proper carrier. Why? You give me no reason why you are objecting to a long endurance run with tanker support rather than doing things you're way, and I am a strong believer in that a mod for such a social game should have good reason before he goes into official mode. I am not being a dick with this story post and it is part of a setup for Top Gun shenanigans that I only didn't do already for the sake of the mood of the last post.
Secondly, what is the real difference between a bunch of gunships going out unarmed and carrying extra fuel tanks with a tanker/ micro carrier to be deployed dirt-side; and shipping a bunch of gunships 'conventionally' to be deployed dirtside? None that I can see. So I ask you, let me tell my tale my way, you can tell yours your way.
Also I don't want a long argument that detracts from effort in the story, and that is all I can see coming from your ruling or a similar ruling in the future.
I might change it if you give me a
good reasoning. As it is I'm keeping it unmod'ed and hope others use it that way.
