Neat drawing, it appears to have arrow launching mounts? Rambo II class exploding tips I assume! The drivers hatch really makes me picture this thing as alive, with a head.

The turret top weapons in ball turrets are meant to be 20mm rapid fire AT/AA quad cannons.

Will do; in fact when I went into Bristol I did quick sketches of a Challenger II tank that happened to be shown at Bristol when I went there the other week. I'll post them some time over the week (this week I've been laid low by a nasty virus).

While you have shown progress, I don't think it is nearly enough for the amount of time it looks like you spend drawing.

It seems to me that you're going for a more cartoony style than a super-detailed 'realistic' style. I would still follow Havok's advice, but just thinking about your tank images as kind of like 'cartoony' tanks rather than something out of a reference book makes me get it a lot more. The battleblimp in particular looks like concept art for a early saturday morning cartoon.

Generally pretty solid tanks, the cartoony ones are cartoony and the realistic ones realistic. However, the A1E1 drawing is in need of some reworking, its nose is out of perspective. Angles in two dimensions utterly suck to draw in perspective, and I usually cheat on my angled views by projecting so as to make them easier. It's important to remember to think that stuff through extra hard. Guide lines are a real help here since the type of mistake you made where you project something wrong becomes really obvious due to the angle being off. If I'm feeling really anal, I'll draw the front bit, then draw a projection back and then expand that one to get the ends of the angled seams, because I generally find it very hard to keep track of the angle made by two separate movements along different axes.

One major suggestion: any and every time you draw a straight line of more than one inch, use a ruler. It's somewhat shocking how many professional artists haven't picked up on this easy trick, and end up with straight lines in finished, beautifully painted pieces that... aren't actually straight.

^I use rulers to help with perspective, but I'll get more in the habit of using them to draw buildings, vehicles, and other hardware.

I second that one. Any of Burne Hogarth's books are good.

BO, those hands are pretty good (and correctly foreshortened, too!) LOVE the tank concepts, but I'll have to agree with Hav on this one. Some more study of the lines and planes of real tanks (I used to use some of the Jane's books, back when I had a passing obsession with tanks) will help, as well.
