What region is it? I've heard that many R2 DVD players can play R1.Admiral Valdemar wrote: Shinji only got a little look as he told Toji who promptly had a fit.
I hope that box set I'm looking at getting works in the UK, I have the films and I'm fed up with these crappy VCDs of the series.

I fail to see why the two can't be combined, a shell or missile which releases flying money submunitions with small nukes.

It's Australian so Region 4 since the UK version doesn't seem to be coming out anytime soon, plus this one is in PAL unlike the US version in NTSC. It's also a bit cheaper and different design, but hopefully because of the smaller market in Oz the Region discs work in 4 and 2 areas, which is good.Spanky The Dolphin wrote:What region is it? I was hoping Cowboy Bebop would be there too, but alas the ones I found were Taiwan bootlegs.

No, apparently in Oz they dual code them (or so I hear from some sites and people I know) so it should be okay and as it's PAL it'll play on me telly at home too when I'm sipping tea and eating jam scones. If I had a regionless DVD player this hassle would be done away with.Spanky The Dolphin wrote:Sorry to tell you this, Vald, but to the best of my knowledge, R4 is not compatible with R2...

Well, this thread has been completely derailed.
For a time, I considered sparing your wretched little planet Cybertron.
