Oligarch dictators posing with archeological artefacts for PR is obviously just a matter of disagreement. Nothing to be disgusted with, sure. If I "disagree" with child labour or slavery, I shouldn't be disgusted too. That's just disagreement all right.
I will assume that you did not argue that you should be disgusted by everything you disagree with.

We are talking about ancient Greek urns of which we have found well over 100,000 - the variety Putin has brought to the surface is basically one of many shipping containers used in ancient Greece. I don't see how unsafe handling of such a common find would lead to feelings of disgust.

Because that is not the way you are supposed to handle them and using them in such a matter is nothing short of irresponsible.

Even if it is not the most precious find, it still is something that belongs in a museum. And not to be grabbed at by Putin.

A decision must be made in the life of every nation at the very moment when the grasp of the enemy is at its throat. Then, it seems that the only way to survive is to use the means of the enemy, to rest survival upon what is expedient, to look the other way. Well, the answer to that is 'survival as what'? A country isn't a rock. It's not an extension of one's self. It's what it stands for. It's what it stands for when standing for something is the most difficult! - Chief Judge Haywood

Yeah, that's like saying you can basically tear down a Greek temple you unearthed because lo, there's hundreds of them in the world.
Lì ci sono chiese, macerie, moschee e questure, lì frontiere, prezzi inaccessibile e freddure
Lì paludi, minacce, cecchini coi fucili, documenti, file notturne e clandestini
Qui incontri, lotte, passi sincronizzati, colori, capannelli non autorizzati,
Uccelli migratori, reti, informazioni, piazze di Tutti i like pazze di passioni...
