Actually, they're running phpBB 2.0 RC4, which is an old 2.0 beta version that was full of security holes and bugs. Thus proving that they're stupid in more ways than one.

If you're more computer literate, go to http://www.forteinc.com and download Agent (it runs a trial, and after that reverts to Free Agent), then set it up to get messages from your ISP's news server. Most ISPs explain a little about setting up Usenet readers.
