Have any of you come across dollar bills with the site www.wheresgeorge.com written on them. Its happened to me 4 times. I got 2 in Sunnyvale, 1 in Mountain View, and 1 probably from Fremont. This is over the last 12 months or so.

When I worked as a bank teller I saw hundreds of those damned things. I never bothered to check.

The basic jist of the website is that it tracks bills by serial number. You go on and enter the serial number and zip code where you got it. You can then see where the bill has been.

I'm like DFb; I see a fair amount of bills marked with "where's george?" and I keep meaning to check on some of them, but the bills end up in the bank before I get around to tracing their paths

haha I just checked, and out of the ~$40 in ones I have around here (I'm a waiter, not a stripper

), and of course not one of them has where's george on it. *sigh*

All of my bills except for one, started in my local area and the path stayed local. I wonder if people are writing on the bills themselves, or the guy that runs the site is from around here.
