Hyperspace Aliens (sorry, I went to get a coffee) it just sounds like the Profits from DS9, yes I know that a worm hole and hyper space are different, but it just seems a bit familiar.

They do sound similar but since specualtion of the Whills and what they are come from an early draft of ANH it seems unlikely.
Unless GL had a time machine in 1976

However I wouldnt put it past B+B from ripping the idea off for themselves but I consider this to be unlikely.

About my Dresellian thing, the guy was wearing a cloak, I couldnt see the lack of ears, and he looked very Yoda-like.

In one of the Tales from Star Wars comic book you can find the tale of Yaddle. The younger, female "relative" of Yoda.

The comic mentions her as an "Alantian"...
