They don't have cheese flavoured corn chips in South Africa!

Like potato chips, only made of corn. It's pretty much the spitome of yumminess.

Do you know nachos? They use corn chips with those.

Bunny knows the point. I know the point. Some other people may know the point.

Otherwise it could be a nice discussion on the merits of different flavoured corn chips.

I thought it would be of special interest to bunny, as he is the Grand Archon of the Pyroterrians, a segment of the Holy Order of the Cheese that believes that Cheese is the great power of the universe, but also recognizes that fire is cool.

Well, I already wasted a lot of time reading through this thread, so I might as well waste some more time replying.

Powdered cheese is dirty. Although some find it delicous I do not. I'd much rather just melt some velvetta over some corn chips.

Not only do they not have cheese-flavoured corn chips, but they find the thought of them disgusting!

They just have barbeque and tomato flavour, and they put too much of that on, so their corn chips taste gross.

They do have decent burger bars, though.

South Africa isn't like one of those stupid countries where they put mayonaise on french fries (or chips or whatever you foreigners call them)? If they are, then I refuse to take their culinary views seriously.

(Whee! This is a post-count-inflating thread if there ever was one.)

And to think that I'd started off intending this thread to be a serious discussion on corn chips. :)

that's 269...

Doritos are good. I wouldn't be alive today if it wasn't for Doritos.

Alright, I have to ask: how are Doritos responsible for your being alive?

[voice="Abe Simpson"]Well, it all started when I was 12. We'd just fiinished the war then and times were tough... or was it the depression? I forget. Well, anyway, as I was saying, I was 12, and times were tough. My entire family - granny, gramps and 8 kids all had to survive for an entire week eating nothing but a potato. Ind we had to share that with the dog! You see my parents had died in the year of '56 in the great mushroom plague. My goldfish had died then too, it was a very sad year. So times were tough. we were very poor. I didn't even have shoes to wear to school, and every day my teacher said to me, "Alison," he said, "Alison, where are your shoes?" And I had no choice but to say that I didn't have any, and then the whole class would laugh at me, because they had all been allowed to kill their dogs to make shoes. Granny and gramps wouldn't let us kill old Rex, because he had been their loyal companion for over 50 years! SO because of that, we had to go without shoes you see. Now what was I talking about? Oh, yes. How a Dorito saved my life. Well, it all started when I was 12... *snore*{/voice]

Ah, now I get it.

Alison, huh? You wouldn't be the same Alison who said she'd get down with Emperor Palpatine in one of Lord Wong's polls, would you?
