Not to mention the fact that due to the season of the year it should be dark at the north of the pic far before it is down in Africa.

And like has been said, yet more proof that Limbaugh is a fool.

And lets not forget the fact that it is clearly a fucking topographical map of the world.

INCLUDING FUCKING OCEANOGRAPHIC TOPOLOGY! I want a camera that can pick up perfect optical renditions of the mid-atlantic ridge from orbit...

The clarity and lack of cloud cover raised suspicion but it is still a really nice image, even if it is a fake.
Something about Libertarianism always bothered me. Then one day, I realized what it was:
Libertarian philosophy can be boiled down to the phrase, "Work Will Make You Free."

In Libertarianism, there is no Government, so the Bosses are free to exploit the Workers.
In Communism, there is no Government, so the Workers are free to exploit the Bosses.
So in Libertarianism, man exploits man, but in Communism, its the other way around!

If all you want to do is have some harmless, mindless fun, go H3RE INST3ADZ0RZ!!

That was what stood out most to me. The glowing sand is pretty funny too, though.

Ando, good point. That never occured to me. I was wondering why the oceans looked funny. Still, it's a great map.

Heh...that's a funny pic.

It uses the Blue Marble source images...I compared them. If I have time, I'll fake a better one. And isn't that the day/night terminator a bit wide for a pic showing that much land?

Somewhere I've got a pic with a similar scale showing the Moon's shadow during an eclipse...it's sharp.
