This is pre-WWII. You can sort of tell from the sketch style, from thee way it refers to Japan (Japan in the 1950s was still rebuilding from WWII), the spelling of Tokyo, lots of details. Nothing obvious... except that the upper right hand corner of the page reads "November 1931." --- Simon_Jester

I'm already familiar with the MegaSweet wallpapers, so there. :razz:

Those Minimal ones are pretty cool. I especially like the reflection on the "floor" that they have.

The Implied wallpapers are a mixed bag, though. The Fluttershy one is just weird and seems a little too disjointed. Rainbow Dash is pretty cool and is definately my second favorite. Twilight Sparkle is good, though having just her two front hooves seems a little random, but it still works. Rarity is definately my number one of the set, both versions (spotlight is #1, the gray is #1.5). It just does it all right. Applejack may be Best Pony, but I actually like her Implied the least; it's her random hind-hoof that kills it. It just makes no sense to have the one hoof and no others like that. Pinkie Pie is also done very well, even if she is less Implied and more Just-Didn't-Draw-Body-Outline because she has all four hooves and her head outlined. So yeah, a bit of a mixed bag with that set.

I like this one. Twilight, of course, is acting all proper. Spike, mischevious little dragon that he is, clearly wants to sneak the mistletoe over Rarity's head. Pinkie's found the chocolate (of course) and managed to get it on Rarity's dress, AJ and RD are being clowns over on their side...and behind it all, the two Princessess stand tall, serene to the barely controlled chaos that seems to define the Mane Six and simply accepting them for who they are.

In short, I think it captures the essence of the show and its principal cast, all in a nice holiday setting. Two hooves up!
