Fucking idiots on the road, I almost got into a wreck today.

I almost got into a 60mph broadsides wreck today. Friggin' fuckwad tried to merge across 2 lanes. We missed by maybe a couple mm, and then only because my vehicle is very responsive, and I responded in time. So the fucker falls behind me, I flip him off (obviously), and then brakecheck him. Slammed on the brakes doing 60, nice plume of smoke from my rear wheels, guy swerves around me, we're both flipping each other off and scowling of course. What was funny was that right afterwards I noticed that the previously packed highway was clear for at least a mile behind me.

It also appeared that he had his GF in the car with him... I hope she dumps his sorry ass.

Damn assholes... I swear I'd've shot the bastard if I had had the option... It's people and events like this which make me want weapons on my car (read: autocannons on the sides).

If it helps you feel any better, I was cut off on the way to work today. Buddy was in the lane to my right (and only allowed to go straight) but makes a left turn in front of me. Almost rammed his driver's door in.

This twat sticks her head out the open window and mouths something off at me (obviously I can't hear a thing at speed) and accelerates onto the freeway. I get on after her and watch this bitch attempt to maneuver around the cars infornt of her. She ended up having to dive onto the shoulder and go aroound the cars form there.

Seriously fucked up bitch. Me? I just laughed and accelerated in the proper lane toward Houston.

The only problem I had was when this old guy pulled out in front of me into traffic from a mall parking lot. Nearly damned creamed him good. (Thank you Ford for putting good brakes on my car. )

Yeah, spend 20 years in the Army, never get shot at once, go to Los Angeles and it's like a war.

I'm right there with ya, Ming. I live in Houston and the drivers here are some of the sorriest shit stains I have ever encountered. Thankfully, my finely honed reflexes (thank you Daytona!) have kept me out of harms way.

Lucky... I'd love to fly one, just I know they won't let me because I have less than perfect eyesight (I can't see the last 2 rows on the chart very well), but given the chance to show off my tendoncy to see things at distance that no one else does, and my insane reaction time (partially responsible for my NOT getting into that wreck today...) would make me valuable, but as I said, I've heard they won't give a person the chance simply because they can't see perfectly... And there's no friggin' way in hell I'd ever fly a helo... I like wings thank you...
