Hmm... I don't recall something nice about us being said by a trekkie, but then agian, I am a troll with no interest in trek and wars so wouldn't pay much attenition to that kind of stuff.

Inherintly this isn't a bad board. Of course, many forums differ in opinions, but, that is to be expected between two groups of people who enjoy different things.

My nephew (21 years old) stayed with me for a week a month ago, noticed this site on my favorites tab, went to it, and, well, said "Uncle Rob, I knew you liked Sci-Fi, but THIS is insane." :D
Although he did praise Wong's approach to everything, as my newphew is a newly minted nuclear engineer. :)

Both Wayne Poe and Myself are Trekkies (fans of Star Trek), so are the vast majority of those that are also regulars on ASVS and I would think NF Utvol as well. We know it would get smacked to shit by Star Wars in a war, but we're still Trek Fans.
As to Alyeska, he's here to Moderate the Pure Star Trek not defend SD.net to others. He is not our 'tame' Star trek supporter, he has his own opinions and I would doubt he'd say anything he didn't believe about SD.net.

As to what Trektards (those that blindly follow the 'Company' line on how Star Trek is the greatest thing ever) and Trolls say about SD.net, well quite frankly, who cares?

I love those Gorn, I really would love to see an Orion Woman in a Catsuit.... *Collapses in bliss thinking about Diana Rigg in green make up doing some Dominatrix thing*
