I think you have to be much more specific if you want book recomendations. What exactly is your paper about? Like do you have a header/subtitle?

Well, the paper is supposed to focus on humans and their relationship with the natural world. I want to write about technology and its implications on that relationship. Some questions that I had were: Do we have an innate need for the wild? How is the spread of technology affecting this? As technology advances, will preserving human contact with wilderness or the outdoors be important? If so, how do we do it?

Is there any book that addresses those topics? Again, thanks for any recommendations.

Frankly, your description is far too vague and open ended. You will have to be a lot more specific in order to get far.

Additionally, doing that search - finding useful books, articles, etc - is a large part of the work you are supposed to do for a paper.

Even a short search on Google scholar will quickly lead you to somewhere you can start. For example, the book "The Geography of Childhood Why Children Need Wild Places" and the articles that cite it sounds like it may be somewhere to start - found through a simple Google Scholar search for "innate human need for the wild".
