Monday NBC GOP Four Man Debate

And then there were four, Gingrich, Paul, Romney and Santorium will all be on stage in the first of this weeks two debates in Florida.

This looks to be an interesting debate as both Mittens and Newt are supposed to be unveiling new lines of attack against each other. Also Florida is backing Newt at the moment so it's all kind of crazy right now.

I'll be commenting on this debate again but in anticipation of all the incoming bile I offer you this phone quality picture of a puppy.

Brian Williams is already doing much better that previous moderators "You all know the rules, you all know the names of the people on the stage, lets just start and skip the five minutes of introductions"

And Newt Gingrich insists he did not resign in disgrace and Mittens call him on it. Odd dodge there Newt.

Ron Paul gets a "will you run as a third party" says nice things about Newt. Santorium hates freedom and bunnies (Or something, he wants to run an all nice campaign)

Brian Williams ask Romney about taxes and he manages a nice pivot into tax policy except ruins it with some bad word choices about not paying taxes if he can help it.

Pretty remarkable that it seems a mainstream position in the Republican party that people like Romney shouldn't pay anything in taxes.

Oh boy, Santorum just called that the bailouts should not have happened and the entire financial system should have just been let melt down.
Also Newt having to keep defending himself this entire night, thirty minutes so far and 18 have been Newt attacks.

Ron Paul gets the first laugh line of the night and first serious applause for his talk of being open with Cuban.
Santorum goes triple crazy saying Cuba is going to base Iranian missiles there if we relax for a second.

Cuban is going to sign deals with Islamofacists to base their missiles in Cuba. IE Iran is going to be building bases to attack America from Cuba and he knows they plan to do this.

Interesting the Governor of Florida was never mentioned tonight, they typically get at least one shout out. Guess everyone hates Rick Scott.

The thing I left out was the fact his standard campaign line is saying we need to make America great again. It's a favorite line of his, so when asked when we stopped being Great he switches to say oh no we really are great.

We have armed ships in the area ready to enforce the Sanctions=Blockade

To elaborate, Blockades are not 100% Naval, they are mostly ocean based but they can be land based as well. Going around strong-arming nearby countries to not buy nor allow Iranian oil to be sold IS a blockade and we have forces ready to stop those trying to break the blockade in place. Because it's a blockade when you set out to try and stop trade to a port, base, city or nation period.
