Flute. Although I quit band, so not anymore. Say, wasn't this topic addressed already?

I've never played an instrument. It just never interested me. I also don't sing or even listen to very much music.

Used to be a hot hand on the string bass, but gave up Orchestra for a multimedia class.

I played a clarinet in Middle School...
And one time, we got bored and there was no teacher, so some girls took their clarinets, and let the guys take a blow...
That actually happened. Not in a sick way...they just let us toot ont heir clarinets for a bit.

yes, but it´s this sort of topic that comes up every once in a while and you just have to go through posting it again since everybody has forgotten what the others play and dont really care anyway.Darth Yoshi wrote:Flute. Euphonium/Baritone. And there aint nothing like it. It looks like it should play damn low (like a tuba) but it can wail up top with the best of them, adn I wouldn't trade it for the world. Although I'm only third (of seven) chairs in my section, those three who are better than me are seniors (to my lowly freshmen), and once they're gone, I'm King of the worl-er....section!

I also play the Mellophone for marching band. Not to fond of it, but my puny scrawny arms couldn't carry a marching baritone around for six hours a day, so I had to convert. Has the same fingerings as a trupet/baritone, but the similarities end there. Its more like a French Horn in terms of sound than anything else.

I used to play the trombone. Geez, that was so long ago.
"Right now we can tell you a report was filed by the family of a 12 year old boy yesterday afternoon alleging Mr. Michael Jackson of criminal activity. A search warrant has been filed and that search is currently taking place. Mr. Jackson has not been charged with any crime. We cannot specifically address the content of the police report as it is confidential information at the present time, however, we can confirm that Mr. Jackson forced the boy to listen to the Howard Stern show and watch the movie Private Parts over and over again."
Harpsichord, yes. Organ? Not really. With all the stops you have to pull out and push in while you play, plus all the foot pedals and the fact that you have at least two, sometimes three seperate keyboards, you'd have to be familiar with all that stuff to actually be able to say that you can play the organ too. You can add the celeste, if you like. That's a keyboard instrument that's just like the piano except it sounds like a music box.Asst. Asst. Lt. Cmdr. Smi wrote:I play the piano. I guess that means I can play the harpsichord and organ too.
*narrows eyes* You wouldn't happen to be talking about percussion instruments, would you now, boy-o? Grrrrrrr...weemadando wrote:And various bits of hitty-things that some people call instruments...
As for me, I play everything because I'm a music teacher. I play percussion professionally (that means they pay me to hit things!), and occasionally get paid to play piano too.
