Why is Mars still red?

Post by FaxModem1 »

So, by the 22nd century, Mars has a thick enough atmosphere for people to walk in, so why, by the 24th century, is the planet still completely red? Shouldn't the soil have vegetation, or is the terraforming process just not complete yet?

If Mars has been terraformed in the 22nd century episodes, why is it unchanged and looking how it does today in the 24th century episodes whenever we see Mars.

Nobody thought that far ahead (writers, VFX guys, etc.) If you want an in-universe answer, Mars probably is a lot like Vulcan in overall environment (Vulcan is perfectly habitable but looks red or Brownish-red from space.)

Because it saw Earth naked!

Is Mars depicted on screen in ENT? I only remember seeing it in BoBW when the cube was flying by.

Yeah. In the Demons/Terra Prime episodes.

I heard Terra PRime was either worth watching or at least not bad enough that one would regret watching it, is that true?

It's a pretty good episode. Definitely worth a watch.

Peter Weller is in it, which is a plus.

I know a lot of fans consider it the true series finale for ENT, not the piece of shit that will remain unnamed.

What piece of shit? Enterprise, as a TV show, ended when they defeated the robocop guy and didn't attack San Francisco.

What's this about a "true" finale? There was only one?

Oh, you mean... that episode.

No, that didn't happen.
