Well, I have finally decided to release some of the stuff I've done. This is a model I created about three years ago. About one year ago I put it into the computer using a program called LDraw. Tell me what you think.

Nice design, for some reason it screams 'Submarine!' to me rather than spacecraft. Guess what! I found a program that can convert Ldraw format stuff into Lightwave models with a bit of rejigging. If you need a photorealistic render of it, I might be able to help out, although I've yet to try it on a complete model. Also it'd still be made of LEGO bricks, just much more realistic ones. :D

That never crossed my mind, but you're absolutely right, that does sound gay.

You might want to change the thread subject (just edit your original post) lest you get booted out of the USAF for violating 'don't ask, don't tell.' Stranger things have, after all, happened.

I hate it, simply because it resembles some of my LEGO fighters. :P

I like it! The bent tails are a nice touch. Is LDRAW still available?

Not bad. Did you actually make it or just made the design and one day you'll get around to it?

This LDRAW is fun, it just takes a while to figure out. Ive been tinkering around with it. Your plane is a lot of working considering how long it took me to make my jeep.

LDRAW totally kicks ass. I use MLCAD for the Windows interface.

I should put up some of my designs sometime...

I built it first, then modeled it into the computer. I for some reason don't have the creative ability to design things within the computer, I must always make a real world model first.

LOL! I think I'm the reverse... I make something incredible on the comp (see "Fun With MSPaint" to see what I mean) and then *TRY* to build it with my Legos...

The forward wing structure is similiar, but overall they are very different.

Who cares?? They both bear a slight similarity to the Bat-Plane.

LOL Only from the top do the wings make it bear a slight resemblance to the Batwing. Other than that, nada.

That's a pretty sweet ship. I wish I'd known about LDraw ten years ago, so I could keep my best designs on hand.

I'm with Kenny on this, it just screams mini-sub to me (though I can't think why :? ). Anyway it looks good. On the Batwing side of things, it only resembles it in passing - the tail on the Batwing is different, the cockpit further back and the wings both longer and wider, so no it's not the batwing.

Kickass H/K minisub, but not the Batwing. :D

If you noticed the file name, I refer to it as the Tigershark. I gave it an aquatic name because it also kinda reminded me of an undersea creature.
