My sister volunteered with the campaign, so I can confirm that is...pretty much it. Also, at least locally he's been pounding the 'teachers suck' meme so hard that he's positioned himself as the straight-talker being put upon by champagne-sipping caviar-eating public school teachers.

I saw him a couple of years ago at the State Fair (because of course I would).
