U.N. Says Marines Cut Iraq-Kuwait Fence after reading that headline, I had a funny thought. I could picture Iraqi troops sneaking into US camps and TeePeeing everything. I know that couldn't happen because of Sentries but it still a funny thought.

Its possible they are cutting holes in the fences to check out the other side from time to time.

I also heard that some Iraqi's were giving up already and crossing into Kuwait to surrender. I heard that on the radio, so I dont have any sources.

They're probably checking for mines and checking the sand to map approach routes. When the invasion comes they're going to need a lot more and much bigger gaps, probably a couple M9 bulldozers will just plow down the whole thing.

I think it is interesting to note that no matter how much high tech will be a part of this war, a Marine and his bolt cutters still has a part to play. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Of course not, our perimeter speaker systems will play the sound of running water, driving the Beavers into a dam building frenzy, rather then a killing frenzy.

Yes, Iraqi soldiers sneak into a US base, short-sheet the beds, spray shaving cream everywhere and "decorate" with toilet paper, then retreat back across the border. US morale drops significantly. Then it was discovered that the Iraqi's stole the bases entire supply of donuts...
