Matrix vs. The Cell

Through some act of Q, the Matrix gang is thrown back in time, with Trinity ending up in one of serial killer Carl Stargher's drowning cells and Neo being hooked up to the killer's mind. Neo has 48 hours to find Trinity's location before she drowns. He can also disconnect by pushing on an implant similar to the one used in The Cell. Can Neo save Trinity in time without falling prey to Stargher, or do they both become just another pair of Stargher's victims? [/i]

Neo has the ability to control the Matrix, there shouldn't be a problem with Carl Stargher's mind, heck if Jay Lo can do it, he can do it easier.

That Stargher guy didn't do jack shit to anyone. He just looked like a weirdo and sometimes acted like one, but wasn't really a significant threat to anyone. What a dumb movie.

I think you guys overestimate Neo's chances of success here. Not only does he have to survive being in the killer's mind, but he has to be able to find the location of the cell. The question is whether or not Neo is smart enough to do that. And J Lo didn't do crap to control Stargher's mind, she killed him when he was in HER mind. When inside his own mind, Stargher had almost god-like powers, and he was very capable of killing somebody for real if he did it in a way that the victim believed it. I figured this would be a good match up because although Stargher is in control of the situation, Neo has the ability to go beyond the rules and limitations of his environment.

How can we possibly be overestimating Neo's ability? He has the ability to assert control over the entire Matrix. To alter it's laws, and become god like. He was killed in the Matrix, and was able to differentiate between the real world and it. Nothing can hurt him in a fake environment.

He doesn't need to find, all he has to do is think and it will happen.

What are you talking about? You're trying to tell me that Neo can just think up stuff he doesn't even now about?
